Thank you for visiting the offices of Gary Herskovits, DDS, where we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing the best dental care possible in a fun and friendly environment. We offer a wide range of cosmetic dental services, such as whitening, teeth cleaning, and porcelain veneers. Restoring your teeth with veneers is a wonderful way to bring a dreary and dull smile back to life. Our Brooklyn porcelain veneers are made from the highest quality porcelain and are attractive and long lasting.
Porcelain veneers can fix a host of problems that can cause teeth to be discolored, worn down, broken, misaligned or chipped. Veneers can also be used to close gaps between teeth. Veneers look so close to natural teeth that the difference is virtually undetectable. They’re made from tooth colored porcelain, which resists staining. Porcelain veneers generally resist better than traditional resin veneers, and they look more like real teeth, too. The shape, size, or color of teeth can be changed when Brooklyn porcelain veneers are adhered to the front of the teeth. Veneers can be done in just a few visits to our offices.
The process of adhering veneers starts with removing some of the enamel from the tooth’s surface in order to fit the veneer. We then create a model of the tooth, which becomes the mold for the veneer that is constructed in our offices. Teeth are then cleaned in preparation and a special cement applied to the area. After application, a light beam is used to quickly activate the cement and quickly harden the veneer. After your Brooklyn porcelain veneers are applied, we will call you to come back in for a follow up to ensure the porcelain restoration has adhered correctly. Should any problems arise, we encourage our patients to call our offices immediately for an appointment to check on the veneers. We are available a variety of hours in order to accommodate all of our patients as well. Restoring teeth has never been easier with our attractive and pearly white porcelain veneers, so call the offices of Dr. Gary Herskovits, DDS, today!
